At the beginning of the year, a commission was appointed under the leadership of Nils Danielsen to review the possibilities of making further savings in CCM (our animal department) due to high costs. During the board meeting, Nils Danielsen presented the conclusions in the final report submitted by the commission for further consideration by the board before deciding on possible measures to achieve savings.

The board also received a presentation on the conditions for the continued budget work for 2024, which show a continued strained economic situation, mainly due to the high inflation.

Decisions

Decisions at the meeting concerned a revision of the faculty's work procedure, employment of a senior lecturer in psychiatry with combined employment as a chief physician, a promotion to senior lecturer in paediatric cardiology with combined employment as a specialist physician/chief physician. In addition a suspension of the appointment of a professor of nursing was up for decision.
