Supporting workshops – Generic Knowledge and Skills, portfolio
What’s the aim of my portfolio? How do I get started? How do I present my portfolio at the half-time? How does Mahara work?
These are some of the questions that are addressed in the portfolio workshops that the PhD program offers.

Upcoming workshops:
Portfolio workshop – Questions, answers and Mahara hands-on.
Place: Zoom
Program:
09:00-10:00
Question hour with course leader Olga Göransson.
This hour will be devoted to any questions you might have, for example about; how you are meant to work with your portfolio, the 12 categories and what to document in each of them, how to make a good viewing page, the purpose of the Generic knowledge and skills course, etc. We will adapt the content to your questions – beginners and experiences users are all welcome.
In preparation for this session you are expected to study the information material about the portfolio course, available at:
https://libguides.lub.lu.se/MEPO003
10:00-11:30
Web-tool Mahara hands-on (Matthias Bank).
The session will start with a short presentation of how to create entries and journals and how to build a viewing page based on these. However, the main aim is for you to get hands-on time in Mahara, working individually with your portfolio, while having the opportunity to ask questions.
Register your participation at:

Please provide the following information in the field “Other comments”: date of admission, (planned) date for half-time review, (planned) date for dissertation, any specific questions you might have. The number of participants is limited, and registration is on a first come first served basis.
