Evaluation of study programmes

Internal evaluation of study programmes

The Faculty’s first and second cycle study programmes (Bachelor and Master levels) will be evaluated internally within a six-year period. The programme evaluations at the Faculty are intended to develop and drive quality and to focus on follow-up, exchanges of experience and collegial dialogue.

Clear information and support such as guidance and templates are shared with the programmes. This is continuous work that is followed up and revised when required.

Each study programme is included, every sixth year, in a programme evaluation that draws on the following input:

  • Self-evaluation
  • Staff table (according to template)
  • Dialogue with representatives of the programme and students.

The programmes are evaluated as follows:

2019 - Pilot evaluations

Physiotherapy
Master’s in public health

2020

Occupational therapy
Biomedicine programmes
Master’s in medical science

2022

Audiology
Speech therapy

2023

Radiology nursing
Midwifery

External education evaluations

The Swedish Higher Education Authority (UKÄ) is auditing a selection of first and second cycle study programmes in the period 2017–2022. During this period professional qualification programmes are being evaluated.

The programmes included in the UKÄ’s audits will not be evaluated internally:

  • 2020 University medical degree (appraisal of degree-awarding powers, six-year programme)
  • 2021 Nursing programme
  • 2021 Specialist nursing programme
