What is sustainable development?

Sustainable development is a broad concept, including economic, social and environmental aspects. These aspects are described in the United Nations’ plan of action Agenda 2030, its preamble and 17 sustainabled development goals (SDG:s). There are also implications for inner development, which are described in the Inner Development Goals (IDG:s), proposed by nonprofit organisations.
