In 2019, the University Management decided that each faculty is responsible for appointing scientific representatives.

What does the ombudsman do?

A scientific ombudsman provides independent advice and support on issues related to scientific activities, such as publishing, the author's responsibility or research collaborations.

What does the ombudsman not do?

Topics not dealt with by the ombudsman:

  • Issues related to work environment and personal conflicts
  • Advice and support for research concerning research ethics and the research
    ethics regulations  
  • Suspicion of misconduct in research
