International committees
The Faculty of Medicine is actively working to ensure that internationalisation and a global perspective permeate the entire organisation. The faculty has an international office that provides support to both staff and students around international matters. There are also a number of international committees within the faculty. David Gisselsson Nord is vice dean for internationalisation and the faculty's representative in Lund University's international council.
About the committees and the council
Each education board at the Faculty of Medicine has an international committee that is responsible for international opportunities for both students and employees. The committees support the implementation of the Faculty of Medicine's action plan for the internationalisation of education at undergraduate and advanced level, in consultation with the International Office. The international committees report to the programme boards.
In addition to these committees, there is also a faculty council tasked with monitoring overall strategies for the faculty´s international work in first and second cycle education, in postgraduate education, as well as in research collaborations at the faculty level.
