Quality assurance processes in first and second cycle education

The Faculty of Medicine's quality assurance work for undergraduate and graduate education is based on Lund University's guidelines. These have developed into specific Faculty processes, criteria and division of responsibilities.

Purpose

The quality processes should:

  • Support teachers and students in developing the quality of education.
  • Create the conditions for systematic and continuous quality assurance.
  • Promote shared responsibility and development.

Focus

  • Analysis, development and follow-up of the quality of education.
  • Strengthening a quality culture – from control to development.
  • Clear division of responsibilities.
  • Support and guidance.

Quality activities

The Faculty of Medicine's quality activities aim to create the conditions for appropriate, systematic and continuous quality assurance and quality development of education at undergraduate and advanced level.
