Research ethics online training

Background

The online training in research ethics is a joint initiative, where Sweden's seven faculties of medical sciences have collaborated in developing a web training module, to raise awareness about research ethics and emphasize ethical conduct in research.

Aim

The aim is to give an overview of research ethics, and to introduce the ethical guidelines and regulations that researchers in Sweden are obliged to adhere to.

Who should apply?

“Research Ethics for Postdocs and Researchers in Medicine” is intended for graduate researchers who have their PhD degree from a country outside of Sweden, and are planning to conduct research within health and medical sciences in Sweden.

It is also intended to be of relevance for other researchers in these fields who wish to update their knowledge about research ethics.

The training course is open to postdocs and researchers in medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at Lund University, and affiliated researchers.
