Internal evaluation with external critical friends

According to the University's regulations for quality assurance and quality development, all programmes leading to a degree at Lund University must undergo an evaluation at least every six years. The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences has previously planned to conduct a comprehensive internal evaluation of doctoral education during 2023–2024.

However, UKÄ (the Swedish Higher Education Authority) has announced that a national evaluation of doctoral education in health sciences and medicine will be carried out starting in spring 2024 at the earliest. The faculty will therefore await more information about the national review before taking further steps with an internal evaluation.
