REDCap training
The Library & ICT Research Support provides free training in REDCap for PhD students, researchers and research affiliates of the Faculty of Medicine.
REDCap training in 4 modules
The REDCap training is divided into four modules, each 2 hours long and delivered in Zoom. You will learn everything from basic functionality and the best workflow for your research project, to repeated instruments, randomisation and longitudinal projects, as well as how to create complex reports for viewing and exporting, and how to check for discrepancies in your data.
Module 1: Create a REDCap project
When: 8 April, 13.00-15.00.
Register (no later than 7 April) at Register for Redcap Module 1
Module 2: View and manage data, including importing and exporting
When: 15 April, 13.00-15.00.
Register (no later than 14 April) at Register for Redcap Module 2
Module 3: Repeating instruments, randomizing, and longitudinal projects
When: 22 April, 13.00-15.00.
Register (no later than 21 April) at Register for Redcap Module 3
Module 4: Advanced features of instruments and fields, as well as how to collect data offline
When: 29 April, 13.00-15.00.
Register (no later than 28 April) at Register for Redcap Module 4
What prerequisites or installations are required?
We recommend that you only take Module 3 or 4 if you feel that you have mastered the concepts in the first two training modules. No previous installation is required, but you must be registered in Lucat and have a Lucat ID to access REDCap.
