Introduction to PhD Studies

Immediately after admission to the PhD program, the PhD student must participate in a mandatory introduction to PhD studies. This introduction is in the form of an e-learning course titled "Introduction to PhD Studies at the Faculty of Medicine" and is available on Lund University's “Kompetensportal”. The PhD student receives a link to the course upon admission to the PhD program. It is also possible to register and access the course directly via this link with login through LUCAT.

E-learning course titled Introduction to PhD Studies at the Faculty of Medicine (Kompetensportalen)

After finishing the e-learning course, the PhD student must also make an individual reflection and discuss it together with their supervisor. The supervisor and the PhD student then certify that they have together reviewed the reflection and discussed its content.
