Using the calendar
Do you want to inform about a conference, a seminar or an event in the web calendar?
Shared calendars
There are several calendars that you can consider using:
- Intramed - the faculty's internal website (intramed.lu.se and intramed.lu.se/en)
- The Faculty of Medicine's external website (medicin.lu.se)
- Lund University's central website (lu.se)
Let your choice be governed by the target group(s) of the activity.
Please note that the calendars are not used for very limited activities, such as activities that are aimed at one or two research groups. In these cases contact the parties directly, for example via e-mail, phone or Teams group.
Here's how to do it
1. Compile information
Compile the information for the calendar event. In addition to the title and brief description of the activity, it must contain information about:
- date and time
- place
- target audience
- contact
It's also a good idea to specify fees and language for the activity. It is possible to add an image.
2. Publish
Publishing could be done according to one of the options below:
Contact calendar publisher
Contact the web publisher or administrator in your research group or at your department/unit if available and check if you can get help. Often, they have permission to publish in the calendars.
Publish on your own in the calendar
If you are an authorised publisher and have received training in the university's web tool (Drupal), you publish your calendar event via the university's calendar sharing function. Choose which calendars you want your event to appear in, depending on which audience you are targeting.

Contact the web unit
If you can't get help as described above, please contact webbredaktionen [at] med [dot] lu [dot] se for help with publishing. Please send information well in advance, it may take a few days before your calendar event is published.
Dissertations and half-time reviews
Dissertations and half-time reviews are published in the calendar according to a separate order. The routines are included in the instructions for doctoral students and supervisors.
