REDCap training

REDCap course in 4 modules

The REDCap training is divided in four modules – each is 2 hours and will be given in Zoom. You will learn everything from basic functionality and best workflow for your research project to repeating instruments, randomizing, and longitudinal projects as well as how to create complex reports for viewing and exporting and to check for discrepancies in your data.

Dates and registration

Module 1: Create a REDCap project

When: 12 November, 13.00-15.00.
Registration: Register no later than 12 Nov. Register for redcap module 1

Module 2: View and manage data, including importing and exporting

When: 19 November, 13.00-15.00.
Registration: Register no later than 19 Nov. Register for redcap module 2

Module 3: Repeating instruments, randomizing, and longitudinal projects

When: 26 November, 13.00-15.00
Registration: Register no later than 26 Nov. Register for redcap module 3

Module 4: Advanced features of instruments and fields, as well as how to collect data offline

When: 3 December, 13.00-15.00. 
Registration: Register no later than 3 Dec. Register for redcap module 4
 

What prerequisites or installations are needed?

We recommend that you only take module 3 or 4 if you feel that you master the concepts in the first two training modules. No previous installation is required, but you need to be registered in Lucat and have a Lucat ID to access REDCap.
