REDCap training
Redcap is a user-friendly application for electronic data collection in research studies. With Redcap, you can securely collect, store and report clinical research data, for example for an RCT project. BIKT, Library and ICT provide free training in Redcap for doctoral students, employees and affiliates at the Faculty of Medicine.
REDCap training in 4 modules
Our REDCap training is divided in four modules – each is 1 hour and 45 minutes. All training sessions are online via Zoom.
Module 1: Create a REDCap project: Basic functionality and capability, best workflow for your research project, and REDCap in relation to GDPR.
Module 2: View and manage data, including importing and exporting data.
Module 3: Learn about repeating instruments, randomizing, and longitudinal projects, and how to create complex reports for viewing and exporting and check for discrepancies in your data.
Module 4: For experienced users: Advanced features of REDCap instruments and fields, as well as how to collect data offline, using REDCap Mobile.
