Careers Centre services at a glance

The Careers Centre at the Faculty of Medicine offers career support for PhD students, postdocs and other early-career researchers who have not yet obtained a tenured position. We offer a range of seminars, workshops and events, some of which are held on a regular basis. We also offer the opportunity for one-on-one career coaching. Here is a short overview of our services:

• Interactive monthly webinar series: Time 2 Talk, co-organized with the International Office and the PhD Studies Office
• Recurring seminars on applying for docentship (associate professor) and on building a pedagogical portfolio 
• Yearly support programme for PhD students and researchers who plan to apply for funds from the Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet) 
• Yearly Career Day
• Other career-related seminars, such as career explorations
• Mentorship programme MentLife with the life science industry, for PhD students and postdocs
