Facade and window renovation

INFO: Replacement of facade & windows activities week 17

Building 91

• Continue to remove the scaffolding o the eastern side of the building towards the hospital
• Some metal work on the roof that could not be done while the scaffolding was in place

Building 92

• Plastering of the southern & western facades facing building 91 and Pildammen so plastic remains in front of the windows
• Installation of insulation and boards towards west level 11, sporadic drilling.
• The  crane will continue to remove the sedum roofing. That job will continue  until and including when the crane is free from the window replacement.
• Setting up scaffolding on building 92 on the facade facing Building 93
• Start on replacing the roofing material
• CRC Library: Assembly of internal walls, some disturbance when we drill in concrete frame.

OF 93

• Removal  and replacement of the large windows facing building 92 will continue  during week 16. Assembly the window profiles outside the building so no  disturbance in By 93.
• Crane work to take down remove the sedum roof.

Repainting of stairwell BMC, houses A-D spring 2024

During the spring, Akademiska Hus will repaint the stairwells in BMC, houses A-D, starting on February 26. The work is estimated to take five weeks per stairwell.

The work will begin on Monday 26 February in building B. Employees must use stairwell C during ongoing work. In the event of a fire alarm, it is permitted to take the stairwell.

Repainting is done with water-based paint. There are no health risks with the paint.
