Research supervision course

According to a decision by the vice-chancellor, all supervisors in doctoral level education must have completed an approved supervisor course.

The course is given four times a year, twice in English and twice in Swedish. One of the English courses is conducted digitally.

Who is the course intended for?

Those who are, or are about to become, research study supervisors at the Faculty of Medicine.

Prerequisite

A doctoral degree

Purpose of the course

The course offers the supervisor the opportunity to develop their role, in a way that increases the chances of fulfilling their assignment with greater efficacy and assurance.

  • the role of the supervisor
  • supervisor ethics
