Web stats show an increased use of the internal web in employees' daily work. The new Intramed has made a difference for the employees at the Faculty of Medicine, the LU Staff pages conclude.

It became clear that members of staff were not satisfied with the existing IT environment, which was splintered, and that email was the primary channel for internal communication. Several of those interviewed did not use the internal website Intramed much in their work.
“We were told that it was hard to navigate to the right information on the website and that much of the information on it was out-of-date,” says Björn Martinsson, who was the project manager for the new website.

The launch of our new internal website has become a catalyst and a hub for ongoing internal communication. We have created a very active newsfeed, initially to keep interest going for the website, but in the long-term we see it as an important channel for building our internal culture,” says Johanna Erlandson, head of communications at the Faculty of Medicine.
