How AV technology works in the Faculty's meeting rooms with wireless connection

Lots of laptops on top of each other, showing the HDMI-entrance.

Do you know how audiovisual technology (AV) in meeting rooms with wireless connection to cynap-connected screens? Here you will get a quick explanation of what to do if you do not have a Lucat ID to connect to the wireless network.

To connect to Lund University's wireless network, which in turn connects wirelessly to cynap (AV) in the faculty's meeting room, you can do it in different ways.

Each meeting room has an HDMI cable that presenters/attendees can use if they do not have their own Lucat ID or have not received one temporarily.

The same cable applies to Region Skåne employees because their computers have a security restriction that prevents a wireless connection to the university's cynaps.

For more information and help regarding wireless connection, AV technology, you can find the contact page for the Faculty of Medicine's IT and AV support. (Support in Swedish!)

You can also find this contact information on the screens in each meeting room in a QR code.
