The Faculty's own film club "Film at Forum" continues with the short film "Vem ropar för Alvar", the result of three years of research on Swedish elderly care. See you on the steps of Forum Medicum!

The film is a drama-comedy that depicts how the assistant nurse Minna, on her way to work, saves her elderly neighbor Alvar from a fire at his residence and what follows that event. The film clearly shows both an absent manager and an aid assessor, played by Ulla Skoog, who is happy to entrust the supervision of Alvar to Minna as his neighbor.

The script is a free interpretation of interview material from a research project on Swedish elderly care. After the film, there will be a conversation between researchers and the filmmaker Anna Maria Johannesdottir Hutri.

Date: Thursday April 11 at 17:00–18:30
Location: The stairs at Forum Medicum

The film has Swedish speech and English subtitles. Subsequent conversations are conducted in Swedish. No pre-registration is required.
