Why is your work as head of department important?

"That all the work at the institution works is important, and to be honest, I'm just a cog in the machinery. Formally, my task is mainly about maintaining efficient internal handling, such as delegation, signing of services, grants, agreements and more. Here I have great support from both the Management team and the Department Office."

"Another part of the assignment, which I find most enjoyable, is about leadership. There, my goal is to help all my employees thrive and be able to perform at their peak."

What is the best thing about being a head of department?

"The people! To meet my colleagues at the Department and all other colleagues at the Faculty. What a crowd of interesting and enriching individuals. Meeting all these amazing people is a big and important part of my lifelong learning, and makes me develop as a person and become a more responsive and communicative leader."
