The support program is an annual initiative ahead of the application round to the Swedish Research Council in the field of Medicine and Health. Through this initiative, the Faculty,in collaboration with Future Faculty, wants to give researchers the opportunity to gain and exchange experiences and insights that can help strengthen and optimize their applications.
“Our goal is to create a platform where researchers can share knowledge and strategies to improve the quality of their applications. Together, we hope to increase the chances of application success,” says Eva Ageberg, Vice Dean.
Swedish Research Council Secretary General on site
The program consists of two parts. First, an information seminar on January 20, where the target audience is primarily early-career researchers, but everyone who thinks they might benefit is welcome to join this session. On this occasion, the Swedish Research Council's Secretary General for Medicine and Health and our Faculty colleague, Madeleine Durbeej-Hjalt will be present to answer questions and provide valuable perspectives.
This will be followed by a peer review workshop on February 10. Participants will have the opportunity to review each other's applications on site and give and receive constructive feedback to strengthen their applications.
Learning environment
"This workshop is new for this year, and the aim is to create an open and learning environment where researchers can benefit from each other's expertise and experiences. By giving and receiving constructive feedback, we hope to further improve the quality of the applications", explains Eva Ageberg.
