The stairs at Forum Medicum were full to the brim when Amanda Romare, author of the Netflix super hit "Diary of a ditched girl", visited Kunskapskrogen.

The evening's guest generously shared stories about her writing and her experiences of living with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder).

After an introductory presentation where Amanda talked about her background and history with OCD, she was joined on stage by Emma Claesdotter-Knutsson, associate professor and chief physician in child and adolescent psychiatry, and the evening's moderator Tove Smeds. This was followed by a conversation where the audience could learn more about OCD and authorship and where they had the chance to ask questions directly to Amanda. The questions that came in concerned everything from Amanda's experiences with living with OCD and how she feels today, to how she came to be a writer. It was an enlightening meeting with lively and warm conversation, but the audience was also treated to many laughs.
