Creativity at Forum Medicum: Mental health in focus

Creativity at Forum Medicum. Photo.
Crafts with artist and photographer Lex Eliot Rose, emotions in clay with sculptor Jacqueline Kaplan Persson, and care dog Heffe with Lena Maria Lundberg from the Care Dog School. A creative spring at Forum Medicum!

During spring, students at the Faculty had the opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences on mental health through creative activities at Forum Medicum. The response has been very positive.

– There was great commitment and a clear need from the students, which has confirmed how important this work is. The reception has been very positive, and several of the activities have been described as both meaningful and empowering. It has been fantastic to see how students have absorbed the content, participated actively and shown interest in giving their opinion on mental health on campus, says Ida Englund, project assistant in the research group Mental Health, Activity and Participation.

The activities, which have been gathered under the name “Mental Health on Campus”, are part of a project to develop a framework for mental health on campus.
