Lund University offers a free storage solution for your research data. You can also receive support in choosing the right storage and management solution depending on the required security classification. The Faculty’s Data Steward can help you get started and advise you on the best way to store your data.
As a researcher or project manager, you can store your data in a free research data storage solution with improved backup and greater control and authorisation management options. You order your research data folders in Lucat.

Research data requiring a particularly high level of security
If you work with sensitive research data that requires a particularly high level of security (classified as levels 3 or 4), you must currently continue to manage this data using one of the secure systems provided by the university, such as LUSEC.
