The meeting began with the dean informing about the new lease agreement at Medicon Village, where we have now reduced the amount of premises that the faculty rents there. Bo Ahrén then presented the report on the Broman Collection and the recommendations on how it should be handled in the future. Vice Dean Eva Ageberg then spoke about the faculty's gender equality statistics for 2025, CFO Marie Creutzer presented the conditions for the faculty's resource allocation in 2027 and operations manager Mikael Rydahl then gave an update on the animal house's financial situation.
Decisions
Decisions at the meeting concerned proposals for the management of the Broman collection, a revised action plan for teaching and research appointments at the Faculty of Medicine, appeals against employment as an assistant professor of physiotherapy and a request for a withdrawal of a recruitment for a professor of geriatrics combined with employment as a specialist physician/senior physician. Other decisions concerned promotions to professors in bioinformatics with a focus on protein evolution, medical science with a focus on biological drugs and advanced therapies, immunology, paediatrics combined with employment as a specialist/senior consultant, medical research with a focus on quantitative infection biology, medical microbiology and in molecular medicine with a focus on clinical neuroscience combined with employment as a specialist.
