Communicating within the faculty
As an employee at the Faculty of Medicine, you have a responsibility to keep yourself informed about what is going on at the faculty, the departments and within support operations. There are several ways for you to access such information.
The website Intramed
Intramed is the faculty intranet. Here you will find practical information that helps you in your daily work, for example how to book premises, verify invoices, handle hazardous waste, get in touch with IT support. News from the faculty, upcoming seminars, training courses, grants et cetera is also published here.

Faculty of Medicine newsletter
The Faculty of Medicine's newsletter is a digital mailing that is sent automatically once a month to all employees at the faculty. It contains up-to-date information from the faculty's internal and external websites, calendar and grant calendar.

The faculty morning meetings
All employees are welcome to participate in our digital faculty morning meetings. These meetings are held every month and are an opportunity for you to learn more about various current topics. These meetings are held alternately in Swedish and English in order to be accessible to all employees at the faculty.
Departmental newsletters and other local information channels
In addition to the faculty newsletter, there are local newsletters at the faculty departments. Departments and other operations/units also hold information and workplace meetings.
Information screens
Information screens are located in the faculty's premises in Lund and Malmö. At BMC in Lund there are also screens that are specifically aimed at students. Our information screens advertise events, announcements, workshops, seminars, et cetera. If you would like to advertise on the information screens, please submit your material via the web form below.

When do you need to communicate?
In order to find out if you need to communicate, start by thinking through what you wish to achieve with your communications and who your target group is.
