Flow Cytometry Sorting Course - MEFLCS1
Interested in gaining practical knowledge of droplet based cell sorting (FACS) that can be directly transferred to research questions?
Then join the upcoming cell sorting course hosted by the experts at the FACS Core Facility at Lund Stem Cell Center, and the MultiPark Cellomics and Flow Cytometry Core Facility from 17 - 21 August, 2026!
The aim of this 5-day hands-on course is to provide participants practical knowledge of droplet based cell sorting (FACS) that can be directly transferred to research questions:
- Theory behind cell sorting
- Start-up, shut-down and quality control of a cell sorter
- Sorting of beads and cells to fit different types of experiments
- Troubleshooting, quality control and validation of cell sorting
- Doing a risk assessment
The application period closes on 28 June, 2026. All are welcome to apply, please be aware that the number of participants is limited. Preference is given to PhD students and postdoctoral fellows who are affiliated with these networks, and to active FACS users.
