No, the workshop participants did not disappoint, going all-in in the Christmas sweater swamp (which had been created with gusto) after education administrator Linda Brolin sent out this enthusiastic workshop invitation:
"Christmas is creeping up like Santa on the night shift – and we're going to celebrate with a competition that will make the glitter fly! On December 8, when everyone is gathered in Lund, it's time to dig out your craziest, ugliest, or most ostentatious Christmas sweater. The more eyebrow-raising, the better!
Do you already have a sweater that screams ‘Christmas party‘ at full volume’? Or do you want to create your own masterpiece with glitter, Christmas tree baubles, and maybe some flashing fairy lights? Go nuts!
A prize awaits the person who manages to shock, charm, and crush the competition with their sweater. So, let your imagination run wild and get ready for the most colorful fashion disaster of the year!"
And the winner was, dramatic drum roll: Åsa Wiesel, with her Christmas creation in green with red Christmas baubles (bottom row, far right).
