An important session for early/mid-career researchers. Get an overview of key aspects of academic career progression; requirements, application process, pedagogical portfolio. Irl (sign up no later than April 21) and online.

We are pleased to announce that the two events “How to prepare and apply for the Docent/Associate Professor title” and “Pedagogical Portfolio for ECR:s” have now been combined into a single joint event. By this, you will receive information about those two important topics regarding your future academic career in one occasion!

NB! There is no requirement for having attended "Academic career for early/mid-career researchers, part I: Teacher positions - criteria and application process" to attend this session. 

This session will provide an overview of key aspects of academic career progression, such as the requirements and process for applying for the Docent title, as well as information on what to include in your pedagogical portfolio and its role in academic merit assessment.

Speakers: 
Profesors Lena Uller and Lars Rylander from the docentship committee (Docenturnämnden) will talk about how to merit yourself to become a Docent at the Faculty of Medicine in Lund, and inform about the application process.

Professor Martin Garwicz and Senior Lecturer Magnus Hillman will provide information about what to include in the portfolio and how you should structure it.
