Now you can apply for an intern as well!
Learn about the application and recruitment process in the information meetings arranged by Jobbsprånget on 12 and 14 november (see fact box).
Here Nicole van der Burg and Isabel Hidalgo share their experiences.
Would you recommend Jobbsprånget?
– Every day!, says Nicole van der Burg who is now hiring an intern for the second time. The interns are highly skilled, extremely motivated and happy to help in all aspects. They have a vast array of international knowledge, and you can help them so much to find a job by providing job references and inviting them to events, seminars and workshops to help them network in their field, says Nicole van der Burg.
How was the application process?
– The application and recruitment were easy processes, and they were well organized in the platform, also we had access anytime to the Jobbsprånget people to answer any questions we had, says Isabel Hidalgo.
In short, what does your trainee do?
– Our trainee has a specific background that we lacked and were interested on, so she is helping us to design many experiments new to us and performing some that we are already running in the lab. She also brings good inputs and helps with the data analysis, says Isabel Hidalgo.
– Last term and this term I have worked with interns to help me perform laboratory experiments, advance projects, collect patient samples and perform research and analysis. This term I am also working with a bioinformatician to advance the analysis of my data and to help write data science-based applications, says Nicole van der Burg.
Note: Last day to apply for an intern is 12 December.
