Maria Björkqvist and Jonas Larsson have been re-elected as Dean and Associate Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for the term from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2029.

Here’s what they had to say about their re-election:

“Thank you so much for your continued trust. We look forward to continuing the long-term work we’ve started—work aimed at strengthening our core operations. We’ve made significant progress on several major issues, though we haven’t yet reached our goals (for example, in our efforts to reduce the faculty’s proportion of vacant spaces). We also look forward to continuing our strategic initiatives in areas such as international recruitment.

Thank you to all of you who make our work possible and enjoyable!

Best regards, Maria and Jonas”
