Competition: Visualize the Faculty's strategic intent

Illustration with circle diagram with the headlines from the Faculty of Medicine's strategic intent.

The Faculty of Medicine board decided on a new strategic intent for the Faculty of Medicine at its meeting in March. Now you have the chance to come up with a proposal for how the strategic intent should be visualized by participating in our layout competition. The person who submits the winning proposal will be rewarded with a nice prize. No later than April 30.

To participate in the competition, follow these steps:

  • Read through the strategic intent (opens in new window)
  • Think through how it could be visualized in a clear way
  • Make a sketch of your proposal and send it to johanna [dot] erlandson [at] med [dot] lu [dot] se (johanna[dot]erlandson[at]med[dot]lu[dot]se) no later than April 15, 2025

The winning concept will get a professional design in line with Lund University's graphic profile and will be presented at the faculty's summer afterwork and on Intramed.

What is a visual concept?

A visual concept is the way the strategic intent is presented in image format. It can be as a symbolic image where the different parts are built in (e.g. a house with different pillars holding up the roof) or something more schematic, like a matrix. The concept is used to make the content clearer and more understandable.
